 Television is an integral part of any home today. Television was first invented in black and white by Scottish inventor John L. Beard in 1925. Televisions are now produced in various types in different countries of the world with technological advancements. November 21 is designated as World Television Day. Today, television media should be used properly with media literacy to bring society to a higher level economically, socially, technologically and culturally. There are many television channels and through them, special information is provided to the public quickly and accurately. Today, television can be called a very useful audiovisual medium.
